is a doctoral researcher at Ghent University’s Department for Literary Studies, who specializes in contemporary Hispanic literature. He has published on the narrative representations of dictatorial violence and its aftermath in the contexts of 21st century Spain and Argentina. He is currently working on a PhD-project investigating the applicability of Anglo-Saxon theories on individual and collective trauma for the narrative output of post-dictatorial Argentina’s “second generation”, with an emphasis on the role of temporal dislocation.
