Laura Van Beveren is a PhD student at the Department of Educational Studies at Ghent University, affiliated with the research group Culture & Education. She obtained a master’s degree in Social Work & Social Pedagogy and Conflict & Development studies at Ghent University. Her doctoral research investigates how new rhetorical studies might inform a pedagogy of critical reflection in social and behavioral sciences. Her general research interests lie with rhetorical studies, cultural studies and arts-based research in the social sciences.
