is a teaching and research assistant in the Eastern European Languages and Cultures section of the Department of Languages and Cultures at Ghent University and is affiliated to the research groups GCEES (Ghent Centre for East European Studies) and RuLCA (Russian Literature and Culture Abroad). She obtained a master’s degree in Eastern European Languages and Cultures (Russian and Slovene) from Ghent University and also holds a master of science in Business Economics. Her doctoral research investigates the evolution of ‘Slavophile’ thought and Slavic identity in the works of the Slovene Russianist Janko Lavrin.
