Valerie De Craene…

valeriewas a teaching and research assistant at the Division of Geography and Tourism at KU Leuven. She holds a master in social, political and economic geography from the University of Gent. Her doctoral research is situated within geographies of sexualities, and investigates the performances of gender and sexualities in student nightlife in Flanders. She is also editor of AGORA, and is involved in the doctoral school workshop ‘What does it mean to be a researcher in 21st century academia?’ and the Slow Science network. She currently works as a senior researcher for Expeditions vzw.
